Taco Pasta A Flavorful Fusion

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounces) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 pound pasta, your favorite shape
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, jalapeños, cilantro, tortilla chips




Instructions:

  • Cook the pasta: Follow the package directions for cooking your chosen pasta. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown the beef/chicken (completely optional): In a large skillet, brown the ground chicken/beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.

  • Create the sauce: Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with green chilies to the ground beef. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Combine: Add the cooked pasta and black beans to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
