Crispy Bacon and Eggs to Start Your Day

Bacon and Eggs Recipe


Ingredients:

4 slices of bacon

2 large eggs

Salt and pepper, to taste

Butter or oil, for frying

Chopped fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

Cook the Bacon:

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy and golden brown. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set it aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Prepare the Eggs:

In the same skillet, discard most of the bacon grease, leaving about a teaspoon.

Crack the eggs into the skillet, ensuring they don’t touch each other.

Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.




Fry the Eggs:

Cook the eggs over medium-low heat until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny (about 2-3 minutes).

For over-easy eggs, gently flip them using a spatula and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.


Serve:

Transfer the eggs to a plate.

Place the crispy bacon strips alongside the eggs.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives if desired.
