Ingredients:

2 cups water



1 tsp black tea leaves (loose leaf or 2 tea bags)

3 green cardamom pods, crushed

1/2 inch ginger, sliced

1/4 cup whole milk (adjust to preference)

1-2 tsp sugar (adjust to preference)

Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)



Instructions:

Infuse the spices: 

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add crushed cardamom pods and ginger slices. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to release.












Steep the tea: 

Add black tea leaves (or tea bags) and simmer for another minute.










Warm the milk: 

Add milk and stir gently. Don't let it boil, as it can curdle.










Sweeten and season:

Adjust sweetness with sugar and add a pinch of cinnamon, if desired.
